Astoria to Zion

February 6, 2014

We had such a great time designing the cover of Astoria to Zion: 26 Stories of Risk and Abondon from Ecotone’s First Decade. The publisher, Lookout Books, approached us to design the cover of this anthology of short stories from some of Ecotone‘s most vital work from the past decade. It was a fun design challenge to represent 14 authors and stories all on one cover. We used icons to illustrate elements from each story and simple type to connect each of them together.

Way Way Allen

January 27, 2014

We’re excited to share this comprehensive project just completed for Way Way Allen. Way Way is talented artist who draws inspiration from the natural world and vivid hues of her surroundings. She works from small natural details to create her large abstracts that magnify and celebrate the common pattern. We designed her logo, stationery package and website to compliment her work — seeking to capture the modern and  organic quality of each of her pieces.

Sandy Lang

January 14, 2014

Sandy Lang is a regular collaborator of Stitch Design Co. Her words are often part of our design solutions. As always, we had a wonderful time working with Sandy on our most recent collaboration, her website and blog. The images on her site, by Peter Frank Edwards (whom she frequently writes travel pieces along side) perfectly capture the beauty of her work.

Happy Holidays from Stitch

December 31, 2013

Our holiday gift this year was particularly fun. Our friends and clients from Edmund’s Oast did a delicious custom brew for us. The brew was inspired by two of our favorite things; whiskey and moon pies! We had fun designing the growlers and packaging up these beauties to share to say “Thank You” with  little holiday cheer !
