Pecha Kucha Charleston 7 was held last night in the historic Sottile Theater in downtown Charleston. Each presenter was incredibly inspiring and we left the event reminded of how lucky we are to live in a town with so many creative, talented people.
Parliament, the group who puts on Pecha Kucha, recently asked Stitch to design a campaign to showcase that very idea. We were asked to give a visual identity to the 27,000+ creatives that live and work in the Charleston area. We collaborated with the talented writer, Sandy Lang to come up with Working Class Creative, this family of logos/badges and membership card.
“Raise your hand, carry your card and affix that sicker. You’re one of the 27,000+ around Charleston who work in the creative industries.”
Create. Collaborate. Prosper.

As Summer is winding down for 2010, Marysia Swim and Stitch are getting ready for 2011. Her latest look book just arrived from the printer last week. A blind deboss cover, simple grey type and a soft feminine color pallet of seaweed greens, desert dusts and rosy clouds coupled with her original branding help show case her flawless 2011 collection.

On the heels of re-branding Winter Haven Hotel, we also just completed this new logo and graphic elements for Blue Moon, another iconic South Beach Miami Art Deco hotel. We created the logo to reflect this Mediterranean style boutique hotel, simple and charming.

We’ve just completed this logo for Winter Haven, a hotel in South Beach Miami. Designed by architect Albert Anis, the hotel is well known for its Art Deco styling and ocean view. The logo incorporates elements of the building’s aesthetic infused with the bright colors of South Beach. We actually designed two logo variations for Winter Haven, giving the client flexibility of use on everything from collateral material, signage, and in-room materials.

We just received an email this morning from the editor of How Magazine to let us know that the site we designed for our sister company, Sideshow Press, made their “Top 10 Sites for Designers” list. You can check out Sideshow’s mention, as well as the other 9, featured here. The top 10 list will be up on their site for the month of August. Thanks HOW! We are quite flattered to be included.
