It’s that time of year again! The 2015 Lowcountry Field Feast invites are assembled and arriving at doorsteps this week. This year’s invite comes disguised as a kitchen towel. Our friends at Sideshow Press silkscreened and letterpressed these beauties. See invites from year’s past (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014).

Field Feast 2014

Invitations for the annual Field Feast event are arriving on doorsteps today. The featured chef this year is Kevin Johnson of The Grocery. He was nice enough to can some delicious chow chow for the invitation. He is well known for his canned goods, so we thought it would be the perfect introduction to the dinner he will be preparing for this year’s event. We can’t wait to feast again to benefit Lowcountry Local First.

The Lowcountry Field Feast is one of our favorite events of the year. It has also become one of our favorite projects in the studio to design. For this year’s invite, we sourced navy bandana’s and silk screened each one with the invite details as well as a few patterns and graphic elements depicting this year’s event. We can’t wait for October! View some of the past Field Feast invite designs here, here and here.

The three utensils were rubber stamped, tied together with a tag and stuffed into a letterpressed glassine envelope. Read the rest of this entry »
