Library, a collection of vintage clothing, launched this spring. Library’s branding was inspired by a mix of library ephemera and vintage fashion drawings and photography. Stay tuned for her website that we’ve been working on, scheduled to go live this fall.

Gocco Logo

We just completed this logo for New York photographer Eve Simone. We supplied Eve with the files and she printed it herself on her very own Gocco Silk Screen. Looks great Eve!

A Summer Party
July 14, 2009
Last week we designed these pieces for The Lee Bros. and Kiawah’s Legends Magazine. Matt & Ted Lee dished up their favorite summer recipes during a cocktail party on Saturday night at the Vanderhorst Mansion on Kiawah Island. The letterpressed invitation, menu, canning label and tags were used throughout the photo shoot. We used seasonal fruit patterns and wood veneer as backers for the pieces to add a little local flavor. Look for the full article this Spring!

Stems
July 2, 2009
We are currently working with Anne Bowen from STEMS, a new flower shop opening up downtown. Her new logo is fun, whimsical and a little unexpected. We are finishing up the stationary package right now – a combination of Letterpress and silkscreen printing processes. We can’t wait to share the finished product.

New Studio Space
June 26, 2009
Over the past several weeks, we’ve been busy packing and purging. We’ll be officially moved in on July 1. There has been lots of activity happening over at No. 9 Cannon over the past several months and we think our new home is shaping up quite nicely. Please stop by, check out our new studio and say hello.

CANVAS Hair Salon
June 26, 2009
We just could not resist, with a name like CANVAS for a hair salon…a real “hair” brush was just the right solution. We used a mixture of paper colors and textures through out all the pieces to give the salon that eclectic feel that the owners were looking for.

Gayle Brooker
June 25, 2009
All of the pieces for Gayle Brooker’s stationery package arrived today. Gayle is a photographer who came to us this winter with lots of inspiring ideas. Using layered painted dots and hand-drawn branches, we worked together to created her logo and identity materials. After all the pieces were printed, we went back and letterpressed Gayle’s name to add a little texture.

Wild Hair Press
June 25, 2009
“For local folk who like to send a little bit of Charleston to those less fortunate than themselves, and people “from off” who seek fresh, colorful, authentic Charleston gifts to take back home.” – Wild Hair Press
Along with the ladies of Wild Hair Press (Karen Bacot and Joanne Stemple) we created a series of posters depicting famous Charleston scenes and a line of gift wrap and gift tags. Charleston now has her very own toile!

Pearl
June 25, 2009
Last week, Pearl, a beautifully designed clothing boutique, finally opened its doors. We worked with Allison, who named the store after her grandmother, to develop the logo, printed materials, bags, tags and website (which should be up soon!). The blind embossed logo and letterpresed type turned out great. Feels so good!
