Poppies and Posies Website

September 25, 2014

Poppies and Posies is a boutique floral design firm based in New York City & New England. The design of their new site utilizes photography and graphics in a large and impactful way. We wanted to be sure to use the site as a platform to showcase the beauty of their work. In addition to the photography, we layered in antique botanicals and handwritten type as design elements to enhance the classic and romantic nature of their work.

Bees Wrap

September 18, 2014

Bee’s Wrap is the new natural alternative to plastic wrap. You can simply seal it with the warmth of your hands. Wrap a sandwich, cheese, half a melon, or cover a bowl. Made with beeswax and cloth, we love the natural simplicity of this product. Bee’s Wrap hired us to come up with a packing system that was sustainable (like the product) and more visually appealing to the consumer. Field Feast 2014

September 11, 2014

Invitations for the annual Field Feast event are arriving on doorsteps today. The featured chef this year is Kevin Johnson of The Grocery. He was nice enough to can some delicious chow chow for the invitation. He is well known for his canned goods, so we thought it would be the perfect introduction to the dinner he will be preparing for this year’s event. We can’t wait to feast again to benefit Lowcountry Local First.

Poppies and Posies

September 9, 2014

Poppies & Posies is a boutique floral design firm based in New York City & New England. We recently had the pleasure of helping Creative Director and Owner, Sierra Steifman rebrand her successful floral business. Sierra approaches each project with an enthusiastic attention to detail. Her seasonal flowers are arranged in a loose, garden-inspired style, complete with unexpected elements such as berries, fruits and vegetables. We took her same approach to the design of her new logo and graphic elements, hand illustrating each small detail that makes up her new mark and graphic details.

Proud Mary

September 4, 2014

Proud Mary is a Global Exploration of Textiles. Proud Mary is one of our favorites brands so it was a treat to have the opportunity to work with Harper Poe on the re-brand. Harper had the idea for Proud Mary after returning from volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in South America. After falling in love with the people and brightly colored textiles she decided to combine her passions into a sustainable design business.

Hannah Bergen

September 2, 2014

The art of Keeping. Hannah Bergen is a simple, low-tech, and lasting way for anyone to collect and document stories and information about a piece of furniture, art, tableware, or any sort of object. We designed the logo, identity and kit, helping to curate all the items needed to record, remember stories and memories associated with heirlooms.

From Hannah Bergen: Note-writing aunts and grandmothers in our family inspire us, never missing a chance to show us special objects in their homes. Framed photographs and wobbly candlestick holders each have stories—of travels, weddings, wars and loves.
