Troubadour

February 24, 2010

The Troubadour Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Lindsey Carter, the designer and owner of Troubadour, came to us to design a look book for her clothing line. Troubadour is inspired from from three major influences in Lindsey’s life; the South, the City, and the Sea. Lindsey’s designs personify her own effortless style; a reckless preppy with a twist of edge. That narration was the jumping off point for our design of her look book. Troubadour has just released their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection, so check it out.

Harry Barker Collars and Leashes

February 22, 2010

Here are some of the latest collar and leash designs we’ve created for Harry Barker. We have so much fun working on these with Carol Perkins Rawle, owner of Harry Barker, because she always comes to us with the best inspiration. Carol is great at pulling together magazine tear outs, vintage packaging samples and unique fabric swatches – all of which gives us a wonderful place to start designing.

Spoleto Festival USA

February 17, 2010

We have had the pleasure of working with Spoleto Festival, USA in designing the ticket brochure for the 2010 season. In December we finished laying it out and sent it off to print; we are very excited with the finished product. The performance photos this year were especially outstanding and led the way for a simple, and understated piece. Each year the brochure features all performances for the two week festival, and like every year since 1977, Spoleto will be bringing some of the most innovative artists and performers from across the globe to Charleston.

Tara Guerard Soiree

February 15, 2010

As part of Tara Guerard Soiree‘s rebranding, we also redesigned their website. Soiree has the most beautiful photography, that it only made sense for their new site to be image focused. The Gallery is our favorite section – allowing the viewer a glimpse into some of Tara’s favorite events, full screen.

Stitch featured on Graphic-Exchange

February 15, 2010

We are frequent visitors to Graphic-Exchange, a blog by graphic designer Fabien Barral. He posts work by other designers from all over the world that inspire him. His posts are by invitation only, so needless to say we were floored when he asked for us to send him samples of our work. On Thursday, Feb. 11, we were featured on Graphic-Exchange. What an honor! If you’ve never visited Graphic-Exchange, you’re in for a treat!

Sideshow Press Winning Identity

February 9, 2010

We are especially close to this project. Stitch designed this stationary package and website for our sister letterpress company Sideshow Press. In many ways it’s wonderful to be the designer and the client and then in other ways it can make the project that much more challenging. We experienced both sides of the coin through out the design process. This identity has been years in the making and it has been that much more rewarding for the work to be recognized. Special thanks to Blue Ion, Sandy Lang and Peter Frank Edwards Photography

We can’t wait to display our “solid gold” records!

Soiree

February 1, 2010

We were more than flattered when Tara GuĂ©rard, owner of Soiree Events, approached us about updating her brand. Along with her talented team, Tara creates exquisite settings for a bride’s big day. Her use of lighting, patterns and texture were the inspiration behind these pieces. We are most excited about the flocked pattern printed on platinum paper, which was used to back the letterpressed note cards and business cards. We’re also in the final stages of designing the website so please check back in a few weeks for an update.
